2:1 and 1:2 image models on Sume: banners and tall strips
Eight Sume image models list 2:1 and 1:2, from $0.025 to $0.075 per image. See which ones, what they accept for references, and a banner request.

Eight models in the Sume catalog list both 2:1 and 1:2 (read 2026-10-03): Grok Imagine and Qwen Image at $0.025, Flux 2 Pro at $0.0375, Recraft V4 at $0.05, Flux 2 Flex at $0.0625, both Ideogram rows at $0.075 and Qwen Image Max at $0.09375. Nano Banana 2 does not list 2:1; it goes wider with 4:1 and 8:1 instead. Use 2:1 for a simple banner and 1:2 for a tall strip or side panel.
The list
The list comes from the catalog descriptors and the per-image endpoint prices (list x 1.25), read 2026-10-03.
| Model | Price per image | Edits with image_urls | n per call |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grok Imagine | $0.025 | yes | 1 |
| Qwen Image | $0.025 | yes | 4 |
| Flux 2 Pro | $0.0375 | yes | 4 |
| Recraft V4 | $0.05 | no | 4 |
| Flux 2 Flex | $0.0625 | yes | 4 |
| Ideogram V3 | $0.075 | yes | 4 |
| Ideogram 4.5 | $0.075 at medium | yes | 4 |
| Qwen Image Max | $0.09375 | no | 4 |
Choosing between them
Pick by the job. For an edit of an existing picture, choose a row with references: Grok Imagine, Qwen Image, Flux 2 and the Ideogram rows. For a pure text-to-image banner, Recraft V4 and Qwen Image Max take no references, so they are text-only. Recraft V4 returns only webp, per the catalog.
A banner request
Four banner takes on Flux 2 Pro cost $0.15.
curl -s https://api.sume.com/v1/images \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"model": "black-forest-labs/flux.2-pro", "aspect_ratio": "2:1", "n": 4, "prompt": "Clean wide banner of paper boats on calm water, large empty area on the right for text, soft blue palette, no text"}' Leave space for type
Banners usually carry words. Ask the model to leave the space and place the type yourself in code or design software; a render with letters needs a close look before it ships.
What Sume does not do
It does not check your platform's exact banner size. If a slot wants 1500x500, ask for 3:1 on an Ideogram row or crop a 2:1 render.
