A $1,500 Q4 budget on Sume covers 100 Seedance 2.5 finals at 10 seconds and 720p, 300 Omni Flash drafts, 30 avatar videos, 400 Nano Banana 2.1 images, 500 GPT Image 2.5 stills, 300 voiceovers, 40 music tracks and 200 timeline renders for $1,230.64 at list x 1.25. With the 5.5% platform fee from Sume's pricing policy that is $1,298.32, leaving $201.68 (about 13%) as a reserve for reruns.

Every row below is a unit price multiplied by a count, taken from the same catalog estimators the API uses, so you can swap counts without redoing the method.

The arithmetic

Finals: 100 x $5.778 = $577.80 (a 10-second 720p 16:9 Seedance 2.5 clip is 921,600 x 10 x 24 / 1024 = 216,000 tokens at $0.0214 per 1,000 x 1.25). Drafts: 300 x 8 x $0.125 = $300.00. Avatars at the plus tier, 30 seconds: 15 x $7.74 + 15 x $7.35 = $226.35. Images: 400 x $0.15 = $60.00 and 500 x $0.065875 = $32.94. Voice: 300 x 600 x $0.0000475 = $8.55. Music: 40 x $0.125 = $5.00. Timeline: 200 x $0.10 = $20.00. The sum is $1,230.64.

The video lines are 71% of the plan, so that is where to adjust. Replacing the Seedance 2.5 finals with 100 Wan 3.0 clips at 720p for 10 seconds ($1.25 each) saves $452.80. Moving 15 of the avatar clips from plus to standard saves 15 x ($7.74 - $5.82) = $28.80.

Steps

  • Set a count for each line before the quarter starts, and keep a 15% reserve.
  • Run drafts first, then spend finals only on approved shots.
  • Pin quality on image calls so reserves match the price.
  • Review usage.cost totals each week against this table; a line that runs 10% over is the one to re-plan.

Where the reserve goes

The remaining budget is $1,500 - $1,298.32 = $201.68. Use it deliberately. A rerun rate of 20% on the 100 finals is 20 x $5.778 = $115.56. Another 20% on the Omni drafts is 60 x $1.00 = $60.00. Together that is $175.56, leaving $26.12, about enough for another 4 Seedance finals.

If you would rather not rerun, add a third avatar tier test: 5 clips of 30 seconds at the max tier cost 5 x 30 x $0.55 = $82.50 before the fee. Decide the reserve split before launch, since the cheapest rerun is the one you planned for.

What Sume does not do

Sume does not offer a quarterly commitment price in the catalog, so the plan is pay as you go at the rates above. Plan limits (concurrency) set how fast you can run it, not what it costs. Rates are exact micros from the repo, read 2026-10-08, and can change when a vendor changes its list.
