12 s at 720p: Seedance 2.5 $6.94, 2.0 $4.54, Fast $3.63, Mini $2.27
Four Seedance rows priced for the same 12-second 720p clip on Sume, with the list rate per 1000 tokens and when to pick each.

For a 12-second 720p clip, Seedance 2.5 costs $6.94, Seedance 2.0 costs $4.54, Seedance 2.0 Fast costs $3.63 and Seedance 2.0 Mini costs $2.27 on Sume (as of 2026-10-08).
Same clip, four rows
12 s is inside all four ranges (each of 2.0, Fast and Mini accepts 4 to 15 s, while 2.5 accepts 4 to 30 s).
| Model | Billable price | Multiple of Mini |
|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.5 | $6.94 | 3.06x |
| Seedance 2.0 | $4.54 | 2.00x |
| Seedance 2.0 Fast | $3.63 | 1.60x |
| Seedance 2.0 Mini | $2.27 | 1.00x |
The list rates
Catalog list prices per 1000 video tokens: Mini $7.00, Fast $11.20, 2.0 $14.00, 2.5 $21.40. Dividing by Mini gives 1.6, 2.0 and 3.06, which are the multiples in the table. The grid shows the same ordering at every resolution.
All four report text, image, end-frame, and image, video and audio reference inputs, with audio. So the choice among them is price and the length ceiling, plus whatever quality difference you see in tests.
When to pick which
Mini for drafts and volume where the clip only has to prove the idea. Fast for a middle option when Mini is too rough. 2.0 for finals of 15 s or less. 2.5 only when you need the 16 to 30 s range or its output wins your own comparison.
A staged workflow costs little: ten Mini drafts at 12 s and 720p are $22.70, and one 2.5 final adds $6.94, for $29.64 in all. Keep the stages in separate jobs so you can regenerate only the winner at a higher tier.
At 480p and 1080p
The ordering holds at every resolution. At 480p, 12 s costs $3.23 on 2.5, $2.11 on 2.0, $1.69 on Fast and $1.06 on Mini. At 1080p it costs $17.06, $10.21, $8.17 and $5.11.
The Mini-to-2.5 multiple is about 3.05 at 480p and 720p and 3.34 at 1080p, which makes the choice a flat tradeoff of price against whatever you see in the picture.
Check the number yourself
To confirm the figure behind this post, read the seedance-2-fast entry from GET /v1/video-router/models and check that 12 s and 720p are inside its duration_seconds and resolutions. The grid price for that cell is 363 cents ($3.63). It is the provider list price times 1.25, rounded up to the next cent for the job, as of 2026-10-08.
Use an Idempotency-Key on every create call so a retry cannot start a second paid job, then poll the job until it is complete and download the file from the result. Media inputs for Timeline or for references must be hosted files, so import them first.
None of the prices here say anything about picture quality, motion or how well a model follows a prompt. Prices can change when a provider changes its list, which is why every table carries a date. Re-read the catalog before you commit a large batch, and run one test job at the exact setting you plan to use.
