At the per-second rates on Google's pricing page, a 10-second 720p clip costs $0.50 on Veo 3.1 Lite, $1.00 on Veo 3.1 Fast and $4.00 on Veo 3.1 Standard. On Sume, the same length at 720p-class output costs $1.25 on Gemini Omni Flash 1.1, $1.25 on Wan 3.0, $0.75 on MiniMax H3 at 768p, and $1.00 on MiniMax H3 Max at 768p. Sume does not list Veo, so the Veo numbers are Google's list, not a Sume price.

The comparison table

Google's page quotes per-second rates for Veo 3.1 tiers; this page multiplies them by 10 and assumes the per-second rate applies to a 10-second request. Check the supported lengths for Veo on Google's side before you rely on a 10-second Veo clip. Sume rates are provider list times 1.25, read 2026-10-09.

10-second clip at 720p: Google list vs Sume, as of 2026-10-09

Comparing list to marked-up prices

Sume's figures include the 1.25 house multiplier, Google's do not. Removing it puts Sume's Omni 720p rate at $0.125 / 1.25 = $0.10 per second, which matches the roughly $0.10 per second that Google's page quotes for Gemini Omni Flash at 720p. So the Omni row on Sume is Google's list plus 25 percent, and the Veo 3.1 Fast row at $0.10 is the same list price as Omni at 720p.

Google also states that you are charged only for successfully generated Veo videos. On Sume, the hold taken at submit is released if the job fails.

Cost of ten takes

A single clip hides the effect of retakes. Ten takes of a 10-second clip cost $10.00 on Veo 3.1 Fast at Google's list, $12.50 on Sume Omni or Wan at 720p, $7.50 on H3 at 768p and $10.00 on H3 Max at 768p. The gap between Fast at Google and Omni at Sume is $2.50 across ten takes, which is the 25 percent multiplier made visible.

If your workflow is retake heavy, draft at a lower tier. Omni at 360p is $0.0375 per second, so ten 10-second takes are $3.75, and Wan 3.0 at 480p is $0.0625 per second, or $6.25 for the same ten takes. Move to 720p only for the take you keep.

Choosing

If the clip must come from Sume, the cheapest 10-second row at about 720p is H3 at 768p for $0.75, and the next is H3 Max at $1.00. Neither is a Veo substitute in style; the point of the table is price, not equivalence of output.
