Wan 3.0 price per second: 1080p costs 4x the 480p rate
Wan 3.0 is $0.05, $0.10 and $0.20 per second at 480p, 720p and 1080p on fal. Sume bills list x 1.25. Per-clip prices at 5, 15 and 30 seconds.

fal lists Wan 3.0 at $0.05 per second at 480p, $0.10 at 720p and $0.20 at 1080p (read 2026-10-09). Sume bills provider list x 1.25, so the same tiers are $0.0625, $0.125 and $0.25 per second. The 1080p tier is exactly four times the 480p tier on both.
What does one Wan 3.0 clip cost?
| Length | 480p | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 s | $0.3125 | $0.6250 | $1.25 |
| 15 s | $0.9375 | $1.88 | $3.75 |
| 30 s | $1.88 | $3.75 | $7.50 |
Is the price linear in resolution?
No. The ladder is 1x, 2x, 4x for 480p, 720p, 1080p, while the pixel counts are roughly 1x, 2.2x and 4.8x if you use 864 x 496, 1280 x 720 and 1920 x 1080. Wan is priced as a flat per-second table, so 1080p is the cheapest tier per pixel and 720p is only slightly cheaper per pixel than 480p. fal prices Seedance 2.5 by tokens computed from pixels, a different shape.
What length can I request?
Wan 3.0 accepts 2 to 30 seconds on Sume. A 30-second 1080p job is $7.50 in one request; the Video Router docs list the limits per model.
When is 1080p worth 4x?
- Draft at 480p ($0.0625 per second), finish only the clips you keep at 1080p: a 10-second keeper costs $0.625 as a draft and $2.50 as a final.
- If the destination is a phone feed, test whether 720p ($1.25 for 10 seconds) is enough before paying for 1080p.
- Price a rejected take at the draft rate, not the final rate, when you plan retakes.
What does 100 seconds cost at each tier?
A hundred seconds of finished video is $6.25 at 480p, $12.50 at 720p and $25.00 at 1080p on Sume. On fal's list the same seconds are $5.00, $10.00 and $20.00 (read 2026-10-09), so the Sume amount is list x 1.25 at every tier.
Because the rate is flat per second, there is no extra charge for a longer single job: one 30-second clip costs the same as three 10-second clips at the same tier.
- Use the longer single job when the shot must be continuous.
- Use several short jobs when you want to pick the best of each segment.
