Kling 3 vs Gemini Omni Flash for a 1080p clip: limits compared
Both reach 1080p on Sume. Kling 3 runs 4-15 s and is 1080p only; Omni runs 3-10 s, tops out at 4K, and takes references and edits. Read 2026-10-13.

For a single 1080p clip on Sume, kling-3 fits when you need 11 to 15 seconds and have a starting image, while gemini-omni-flash-1.1 fits when you want references, an edit or a larger size. This post compares only limits from the Sume docs; it makes no claim about visual quality.
Side by side
The two rows differ mostly in what they accept.
| Limit | `kling-3` | `gemini-omni-flash-1.1` |
|---|---|---|
| Resolutions | 1080p only | 360p, 720p, 1080p, 4K |
| Length | 4-15 s | 3-10 s |
| Aspect ratios | 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 | 16:9 or 9:16 |
| Reference images | none | up to 10 |
| Reference clips | none | up to 3, 3 s each |
| Edit a clip | no | yes (video_url) |
| Audio | optional, generate_audio toggle | always on, native synced |
How to choose
Choose Kling 3 for longer shots and a square option. Choose Omni for anything that needs references or a clip edit. On price, Omni at 1080p lists at $0.15 per second, which is $0.1875 per second billed, while kling-3 bills $0.14 per second without audio and $0.21 with audio, both at 1080p, so Kling is cheaper per second when you want no audio.
If you cannot decide, send the same prompt to both, keep the duration at 5 seconds, and compare. For a hands-off choice, sume/auto picks Omni by default.
