Seedance 2.5 price per second

  • Model prices
  • Checked Oct 27, 2026
  • 2 min

Seedance 2.5 by resolution, with edits, on Sume, Higgsfield and Arcads.

Seedance 2.5 costs $0.1028 a second at 480p, $0.2312 at 720p and $0.5686 at 1080p on Sume: a workspace without a price book pays the provider's list price, with 0% markup. Higgsfield's API lists $0.2057, $0.4622 and $1.1373 for 16:9 video before its discount. An edit, a reference video or an extension on Sume counts the input seconds plus the output seconds, at $0.0615, $0.1383 and $0.3402 a second.

What a clip costs

Sume's price is the per-second rate times the clip's seconds. Higgsfield's app and Arcads price clips in credits; Higgsfield's pricing guide puts a Plus credit at about $0.049, and Arcads publishes no dollar price for a credit.

How each one counts

Sume charges Seedance 2.5 per second of output at the resolution you pick. When you send a video in, to edit it, use it as a reference or extend it, the input video's seconds count too, at the lower edit rate, and Sume reads that length from the file before the job is priced.

Higgsfield's API counts video tokens: the output's width times its height times the input plus output seconds. Its per-second figures hold for 16:9 video, so another shape costs a different amount per second.

Run it on Sume

Pick Seedance 2.5 on the Video tab in Studio, or open the Seedance 2.5 model page. On the Sume API the model id is seedance-2.5; the price per option is on the API rate card.

Questions

Does Seedance 2.5 cost less on Sume than on Higgsfield?
Yes, by the published numbers. Sume's price is half of Higgsfield's API list at 480p, 720p and 1080p, and below the discounted price Higgsfield's pricing page shows at 480p and 1080p.
What does a Seedance 2.5 edit cost?
An edit counts the input and the output seconds at $0.1383 each at 720p, so editing a 10-second clip into a 10-second clip is 20 × $0.1383 = $2.766.
Is a failed generation charged?
No. A generation that fails is refunded to the balance. See billing.
