AI video with no subscription
Which tools need a monthly plan, and what happens to credits you don't use.
Sume needs no subscription. You top up from $5, each top-up lasts 365 days, and a workspace without a price book pays the provider's list price, with 0% markup. Higgsfield's app, Arcads and Creatify sell monthly credit plans. Higgsfield's API is the exception among them: a prepaid balance with no subscription.
At a glance
| Subscription | Unused credits | More credits | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sume | None | Each top-up lasts 365 days | Top up again from $5 |
| Higgsfield app | Monthly plans from $15 for 200 credits | Plan credits don't roll over | Credit packs need an active plan and expire after 90 days |
| Higgsfield API | None | Funds expire a year after they are added | |
| Arcads | Monthly or yearly plans; a 72-hour trial becomes Starter | Starter and Creator reset each cycle; Pro and above roll over | Pro and above bill extra use on the next invoice |
| Creatify | Monthly or annual plans from $15 a month ($10 billed annually) | Credits expire after 2 months |
What a quiet month costs
With a plan, a month you don't use still bills. On Sume it costs nothing, and the balance waits for up to 365 days from each top-up. Five 5-second Seedance 2.5 clips at 720p are 5 × $1.156 = $5.78 on Sume, and the next month is $0 if you make nothing.
Where the price is shown
Sume shows the dollar price of each run on the button before you start, the same price the API and MCP charge. Plans count credits instead: Higgsfield's app and Creatify publish credits per generation and the plan price, and Arcads publishes credits and keeps its dollar prices inside its app.
Start without a plan
Add funds from $5 on the pricing page. Sume pays the card fee, so the full amount reaches your balance, and a generation that fails is refunded. Every model's rate is on the API rate card.
