YuE2-3B license is CC-BY-NC-4.0: what that means vs Music Router
YuE2-3B is tagged cc-by-nc-4.0, a non-commercial license. Sume's Music Router routes sume/music-auto, lyria-3.5 and lyria-3-pro instead.

The mrfakename/YuE2-3B model card lists its license as cc-by-nc-4.0, where NC stands for non-commercial, so the weights are not offered for commercial use under that tag. Sume's Music Router is a separate hosted route whose catalog ids are sume/music-auto, lyria-3.5 and lyria-3-pro; YuE2 is not among them.
The license tag is from the model card, read 2026-10-01. Router ids are from Music Router, read 2026-10-01. Not legal advice.
What does the YuE2-3B card say?
It describes a text-to-audio model that turns lyrics and a style prompt into a song with vocals and accompaniment, with Mandarin and English demos, and a 24GB-GPU quick start. It also says YuE2 rivals Suno v5 and reports a WildSongBench average of 6.9632 against 6.8721 for Suno v5; those are the card's own claims, which this post does not verify.
| Item | YuE2-3B | Sume Music Router |

| License / access | cc-by-nc-4.0 weights | Hosted routes at /v1/music-router/generate |
| Model ids | m-a-p/YuE2-3B | sume/music-auto (default), lyria-3.5, lyria-3-pro |
| Input | Style prompt plus lyrics | prompt, 1-5000 characters |
| Hardware | 24GB NVIDIA GPU | None on your side |
Does non-commercial block my own song for a video?
The tag restricts how you may use the licensed material; what it means for generated output is a question for the license text and a lawyer. If you need a commercially usable path with clear terms, check the hosted service's terms instead; for licensed music framing see Suno v6 licensed model commercial use as an example of how another vendor words it.
What does Music Router give me instead?
Omit model and the default is sume/music-auto; GET /v1/music-router/models lists the ids. See list Music Router models.
