Write a 15-second holiday ad song with a timestamped Lyria brief

Sume Music has no duration field, so length goes in the prompt. A brief with [0:00-0:05] sections gets a 15-second holiday jingle for $0.125 a try.

For a short ad song on Sume Music, put the length and the structure in the prompt, because a duration field is rejected. A brief with timed sections such as [0:00-0:05] is the way to ask for a 15-second jingle, and each attempt costs $0.125.

The Music Router docs describe Lyria 3.5 as the current engine, a prompt of 1 to 5,000 characters, and a result that carries the section map in result.lyrics.

A brief that sets the shape

Write the whole arc in one prompt. Name the mood once, then give each time range its job. For example: a warm acoustic holiday jingle, 15 seconds. [0:00-0:05] Intro with sleigh bells and a soft guitar. [0:05-0:12] Hook, bright and singable, one sentence about giving. [0:12-0:15] Button, a short ending on a held chord.

Budget the retries

Music generation varies from run to run, so plan for a few tries. Five attempts cost $0.625. You listen to all five and keep one.

After the track

Check result.lyrics for the section map and compare it with your brief. If the hook landed at the wrong second, adjust the ranges and run again. Then pass the finished audio to your ad render as the soundtrack. Timeline's soundtrack option supports duck_db, which lowers the music under a voice.
