Which short-video lengths fit one video-trim call? 0.2 to 900 seconds

One Sume video-trim call outputs 0.2 to 900 seconds, so a 3-minute Short fits easily. A 10-minute TikTok ad fits; a 60-minute source does not.

Sume's video trim writes an output of 0.2 to 900 seconds from a source up to 1800 seconds. That covers a 180-second YouTube Short and a 10-minute TikTok in-feed ad in one call. It does not take a 60-minute source at all: sources over 1800 seconds fail with source_duration_exceeded, so cut the file down elsewhere first. Specify start plus exactly one of end or duration.

Platform lengths against one call

Figures are from YouTube Help for Shorts (up to 3 minutes) and TikTok Ads Help for non-Spark in-feed ads (up to 10 minutes), both read 2026-10-04. The 900-second output cap and 1800-second source cap are in the video trim docs.

A request

Import the source first, then trim. precision: exact is frame accurate; keyframe is faster but can start earlier, which the result reports as actual_start_seconds. Output is $0.02 per job, async by default.
