Where did the Sume Credits page go? Billing & subscription

The dashboard surface once called Credits is now Billing & subscription: plan status, balance and manual top-ups. What the API can read and what it cannot.

Open Billing & subscription in the Sume dashboard: it is the surface older docs called Credits. It shows plan status and available balance, and it is where you buy credits for Developer API usage.

Everything here is from Billing and credits, read 2026-09-30.

What can I do on that page?

Inspect plan status and balance, and start a manual credit top-up. The dashboard can initiate a Stripe-backed top-up when billing is configured for the workspace. After checkout, the usage ledger can show the top-up activity and the updated balance.

What can the API read?

Two read-only endpoints, scoped to the workspace of the API key.

Public reads from Billing and credits, read 2026-09-30
EndpointReturns
GET /v1/balanceWorkspace balance
GET /v1/usageUsage ledger rows

Can I top up through the API?

No. The docs say API clients should treat top-ups as dashboard operations; the public Developer API exposes balance and usage reads, not a top-up creation endpoint. Exact schemas are in the live OpenAPI.

Why did the name change?

The docs note that the product nav label is Billing & subscription and that older docs called the surface Credits. If a bookmark or a screenshot in an older guide says Credits, it points at the same place. Keys for the API are managed separately in the API keys page.

Where do prices live?

What a generation costs is on the API pricing page and plans are on the Pricing page; this dashboard page does not list them. For a cost-per-run check use Usage.
