Wedding highlight video music: an original score, not a pop song
A wedding highlight film needs music that fits its length. Generate an original instrumental with Sume's Music Router and place it under the clips.

What music can you put under a wedding highlight video? A commercial recording needs its own licence, so some couples and videographers choose an original instrumental instead. Sume's Music Router writes one from a brief, and the audio comes back as a file you can place under the clips.
This post is about the workflow, not a legal opinion. Check the terms of the platform where the film will be shown and the terms that apply to your use of generated audio.
Write the brief around the day
The Music 1.0 docs recommend a scene-specific brief instead of a generic bed. Use the arc to follow the day: ceremony, vows, first dance. A named moment helps you cut to it.
| Axis | Example |
|---|---|
| Emotion | Tender, proud, a little teary |
| Genre | Chamber folk |
| Tempo | 68 BPM |
| Key and mode | E major |
| Instruments | Fingerpicked guitar, soft cello, light piano |
| Arc | Piano enters at 0:20, the cello lifts the last chorus at 1:20 |
| Era | Dry and close |
Generate and ask for length in words
There is no duration field, so say the length in the prompt. sume/music-auto resolves to Lyria 3.5 today; pin lyria-3-pro if you want that engine.

"mode": "async",
},

)
print(r.status_code, r.json())Under the footage
Place the file as the soundtrack bed with a fade-out up to 10 seconds, and lower it under any spoken vows with duck_db, which needs a real audio spine. Keep the vows as the spine and the score as the bed.
Delivery
Fetch the audio artifact from result.artifacts[] and save the media.sume.com URL with the project, so a re-render never depends on a provider link.
