Wan 3.0 vs Seedance 2.5 price gap at 720p and 1080p, 5 to 30 seconds
On Sume Wan 3.0 costs a flat $0.125 per second at 720p. Seedance 2.5 costs about 4.6 times as much. Table for 5, 10, 15 and 30 seconds at 720p and 1080p.

Wan 3.0 costs $0.125 per second at 720p on Sume, so a 10-second clip is $1.25. Seedance 2.5 at the same size is $5.778, which is 4.62 times as much. At 1080p the gap is 5.69 times.
Price is only one input. This post gives the numbers so you can decide how much of a holiday batch deserves the pricier model.
How each is billed
Wan 3.0 is billed per output second at a resolution rate: $0.05 per second at 480p, $0.10 at 720p and $0.20 at 1080p list, times Sume's 1.25. Seedance 2.5 is billed by video tokens, ceil(width x height x seconds x 24 / 1024), at $0.0214 per 1,000 tokens (and $0.0234 at 1080p) before the same multiplier. The model cards are in the Video Router docs.
| Resolution | Length | Wan 3.0 | Seedance 2.5 | Seedance / Wan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 720p | 5 s | $0.625 | $2.889 | 4.62x |
| 720p | 10 s | $1.25 | $5.778 | 4.62x |
| 720p | 15 s | $1.875 | $8.667 | 4.62x |
| 720p | 30 s | $3.75 | $17.334 | 4.62x |
| 1080p | 5 s | $1.25 | $7.10775 | 5.69x |
| 1080p | 10 s | $2.50 | $14.2155 | 5.69x |
| 1080p | 15 s | $3.75 | $21.32325 | 5.69x |
| 1080p | 30 s | $7.50 | $42.6465 | 5.69x |
Envelopes differ
Wan 3.0 accepts 2 to 30 seconds. Seedance 2.5 accepts 4 to 30 seconds. A 3-second sting is possible on Wan and not on Seedance 2.5, which matters for a Black Friday bumper or a 3-second price card.
Both go up to 30 seconds, so a single-take 30-second ad is possible on either. That clip is $3.75 on Wan at 720p and $17.334 on Seedance 2.5.
A way to split a batch
Suppose you need 40 clips of 10 seconds at 720p. All on Wan: 40 x $1.25 = $50.00. All on Seedance 2.5: 40 x $5.778 = $231.12.
A split of 30 on Wan and 10 on Seedance 2.5 costs $95.28. Test both on the same prompt with a small run before committing, since look and motion differ.
Reading the table
- The ratio is flat across lengths at a given resolution, so only the resolution choice changes it.
- 1080p doubles the Wan rate over 720p, while Seedance 2.5 more than doubles it.
- Rates are in the public catalog and can change, so re-check pricing before a large run.
