Wan 3.0 Standard vs Prime per second, plus Sume's x1.25
Wan 3.0 Standard costs $0.05, $0.10 or $0.20 per second at 480p, 720p and 1080p; Prime costs more. Sume lists wan-3.0 at 2 to 30 s and bills list x 1.25.

With the launch discount of 30 percent, Wan 3.0 Standard is priced at $0.05, $0.10 and $0.20 per second at 480p, 720p and 1080p, and Prime at $0.068, $0.14 and $0.28. Sume bills list times 1.25 on every Video Router model and accepts 2 to 30 seconds on wan-3.0.
The vendor rates
The Decoder reports a beta launch on August 24, 2026 through wan.video, Model Studio and Qwen Cloud, with the prices below.
| Resolution | Standard | Prime |
|---|---|---|
| 480p | $0.05 | $0.068 |
| 720p | $0.10 | $0.14 |
| 1080p | $0.20 | $0.28 |
What Sume documents
Sume's Video Router docs say it bills list times 1.25 on every catalog model, and that wan-3.0 accepts 2 to 30 seconds. They do not say which Wan 3.0 tier the id maps to, and no Prime id is listed in the documentation. Do not assume the Standard column applies: read the model's pricing_skus from GET /v1/videos/models, which returns pricing per SKU, and use that number.
The multiplier itself is plain arithmetic. As an illustration only, a vendor rate of $0.10 per second becomes $0.125 per second at 1.25 times, so a 10 second clip lists at $1.00 and bills at $1.25 on that rate. Substitute the SKU price from the catalog.
Budget check before you generate
- Fetch the catalog and read supported durations, resolutions and
pricing_skusfor the model. - Multiply the SKU price by seconds, then by 1.25 only if the catalog shows a provider list price rather than a billed price.
- Use
dry_runon the MCP tool when you want an admission and cost preview. - Generate one short clip at the resolution you will ship, not a higher tier.
Because per-second pricing scales linearly with length, a 30 second clip at any tier costs three times a 10 second clip at the same resolution. Resolution is the bigger lever: the vendor's 1080p rate is four times its 480p rate.
