Wan 3.0 clip as a Genjutsu source: $13.80 for 30 s at 480p

Use a 30-second Wan 3.0 clip as the motion source for Higgsfield Genjutsu: the two-step cost at 480p and 720p, and the request for each step.

If you have no source footage, you can generate it: make a 30-second Wan 3.0 clip, then send that clip as the video_url of a Genjutsu job together with your reference images. At 480p for both steps the pair costs $13.80 ($1.875 for Wan plus $11.925 for Genjutsu); at 720p it is $29.2875. Both models take 30 seconds, per the Video generation docs: wan-3.0 2 to 30 and higgsfield-genjutsu 4 to 30.

480p$1.875$11.925$13.80
720p$3.75$25.5375$29.2875

Step 1: the source

Describe the action you want transferred, not the look. The look comes from the reference images in step 2.

curl -X POST https://api.sume.com/v1/videos \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: chain-source-001" \
  -d '{"model":"wan-3.0","prompt":"A slow dolly across a bakery counter at sunrise","duration":30,"resolution":"480p","aspect_ratio":"9:16"}'

Step 2: Motion Transfer

Download the finished MP4 and make it available at a public HTTPS URL, or use a clip that the workspace already holds. Send duration equal to the source length (4 to 30 seconds); the price is reserved against it. Genjutsu is listed only when its provider is configured, so check GET /v1/video-router/models first.

curl -X POST https://api.sume.com/v1/video-router/generate \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: chain-transfer-001" \
  -d '{
    "model": "higgsfield-genjutsu",
    "video_url": "https://example.com/wan-source.mp4",
    "reference_image_urls": ["https://example.com/character.png"],
    "resolution": "480p",
    "duration": 30,
    "mode": "async"
  }'

Cheaper ways to test

Test the idea with a 5-second Wan 3.0 source at 480p ($0.3125) and a 5-second Genjutsu transfer ($1.9875) before committing to the full chain. The two-step test costs a fraction of one full 480p pair, and a failed motion shows up in seconds of footage rather than thirty.

When it is worth it

The chain pays off when you need a specific character performing a motion you can describe but cannot film. If you already have footage, skip step 1 and save the Wan cost. Always test with a short cut of the source first; a 30-second Genjutsu run at 480p is $11.925, while a 5-second test is $1.9875.
