Vidu Q4 or LTX on Sume? Check the video model list first

Sume does not list Vidu or LTX in its video catalog as of 2026-10-08. Query GET /v1/videos/models and filter by id; a short script and the 12 ids it returns.

Sume does not list Vidu (including a Vidu Q4 preview) or LTX in its video model catalog as of 2026-10-08, so you cannot select them through Sume. The catalog ids are higgsfield-genjutsu, seedance-2.5, seedance-2-mini, seedance-2, seedance-2-fast, kling-3, wan-3.0, grok-imagine-video-1.5, minimax-h3, minimax-h3-max, gemini-omni-flash-1.1 and h3-max-recast. Check the live list for your key before you plan around a new launch, because the catalog can change.

This post gives a short script to do that check, and a table that maps the common wishes to what Sume does offer.

import os
import requests

key = os.environ.get("SUME_API_KEY", "")
if not key:
    raise SystemExit("Set SUME_API_KEY first")

resp = requests.get(
    "https://api.sume.com/v1/videos/models",
    headers={"Authorization": f"Bearer {key}"},
    timeout=30,
)
resp.raise_for_status()
ids = [m["id"] for m in resp.json()["data"]]
wanted = ["vidu", "ltx"]
for w in wanted:
    hits = [i for i in ids if w in i.lower()]
    print(w, "->", hits or "not listed")
print(sorted(ids))

What the endpoint returns

GET /v1/videos/models returns a data array. Each entry has id, supported_resolutions, supported_aspect_ratios, supported_durations, supported_frame_images, supported_input_references, generate_audio and pricing_skus. Use those fields, not a blog post, as the source of truth for what you can request. The Video Router has a matching GET /v1/video-router/models, which also shows capabilities.

If the model you want is not listed

You can also send model: "sume/auto" and let Sume choose. Sume does not disclose which family served an Auto request, so it is no way to test a specific model.

Reading the script

The script exits if SUME_API_KEY is empty, calls the list endpoint with a 30-second timeout, and prints any ids that contain vidu or ltx. If neither is present, it prints not listed. It then prints the full sorted list so you can see what is available today. Run it in CI if a launch matters to your roadmap, and fail the check only when your required id appears.

The endpoint is the same one the Sume docs recommend for discovery: before you submit a request, find the resolutions, aspect ratios and durations that each model supports. Limits are different for each model.

Why not assume a new launch is available

Vendors announce models before and after API access appears at any given provider. A launch week list of new video models (Vidu Q4 preview, Wan 3.0, Seedance 2.5, Kling 4.0, Gemini Omni, Veo, MiniMax, LTX) is a list of vendor announcements, not a list of what Sume serves. Of those names, Sume's catalog today includes Wan 3.0, Seedance 2.5, Gemini Omni Flash 1.1, the MiniMax H3 family and Kling Video v3 Pro. It does not include Vidu, Veo, LTX or Kling 4.0.

This post makes no claim about the specs of any model that Sume does not list. For those, read the vendor's own page.

How a new model reaches the list

The Video Router docs note that at least one catalog model, Genjutsu, is in the catalog only when its provider is configured, so the list you see can differ from the list in this post. Treat absence from the list as the answer for now, and check again with the same script when the vendor launch you care about is announced.
