Vidu 500 RMB top-up: 16,000 credits is 1,777 seconds of Q4 at 540p
Vidu's smallest API package is 500 RMB for 16,000 credits. How many Q4 Preview seconds that buys at each resolution, and the flat 32 credits per RMB.

Vidu's smallest published API top-up, 500 RMB, buys 16,000 credits, which covers 1,777 seconds of Q4 Preview at 540p (16,000 / 9 credits per second) or 205 seconds at 4K (16,000 / 78). The package allows up to 5 concurrent tasks and is valid for one year. Every package on the page converts at 32 credits per RMB, so a bigger top-up buys the same seconds per RMB with more concurrency room, not a lower rate.
| Resolution | Credits per second | Seconds from 16,000 credits | About 10-second clips |
|---|---|---|---|
| 540p | 9 | 1,778 | 178 |
| 720p | 19 | 842 | 84 |
| 1080p | 24 | 667 | 67 |
| 2k | 38 | 421 | 42 |
| 4k | 78 | 205 | 21 |
The package list
Vidu lists five packages: 500 RMB for 16,000 credits, 1,000 for 32,000, 2,000 for 64,000, 5,000 for 160,000 and 20,000 for 640,000. All show a concurrency of up to 5 and a one-year validity. Divide each: 16,000 / 500 = 32; 160,000 / 5,000 = 32; 640,000 / 20,000 = 32. The credit unit price is 0.03125 RMB, which is 1 / 32. For business customization or bulk purchases Vidu points to its sales mailbox.
The page also notes that videos that fail to generate do not consume credits, and that concurrency of 5 means five tasks run at once while more are queued.
Clip-level math
A 3-second clip at 540p costs 27 credits, so 16,000 credits cover 592 of them. A 16-second clip at 4K costs 78 x 16 = 1,248 credits, so the same package covers 12 of them (12.8 rounded down). A mixed month of 100 clips of 5 seconds at 720p (9,500 credits) plus 10 clips of 10 seconds at 1080p (2,400 credits) uses 11,900 credits, which fits in one 500 RMB package with 4,100 left.
How Sume bills the same work
Sume does not list Vidu. Sume bills a workspace USD balance: at submit it reserves the estimated price of the job and captures it on completion, and failed jobs release the reservation where applicable. There is no prepaid concurrency package to size; admission checks balance, request validity and workspace capacity. If you want a rough Sume equivalent to the 100 clips of 5 seconds at 720p, wan-3.0 lists $0.125 per second at 720p, so 500 seconds cost $62.50, and gemini-omni-flash-1.1 lists the same $0.125 per second at 720p.
The credit-to-RMB check
The page prints one credit as 0.03125 RMB. At that rate 16,000 credits is 500 RMB exactly (16,000 x 0.03125), which confirms the package carries no bonus credits. The same holds for the 20,000 RMB package: 640,000 x 0.03125 = 20,000. A larger top-up does not lower the unit price on this page, so choose the package for the validity and concurrency you need, not for a discount.
