VHS camcorder look on purpose: 360p and 480p AI video on Sume
A 6-second 360p or 480p AI video costs $0.23 to $0.53 on Sume. Omni Flash 1.1 is the only video id with a 360p rung; the others start at 480p.

If you want a VHS or old-camcorder look, the cheapest honest route on Sume is to ask for a low resolution: gemini-omni-flash-1.1 at 360p costs $0.23 for 6 seconds, wan-3.0 and minimax-h3 at 480p cost $0.38, and seedance-2-mini at 480p costs $0.53. Omni Flash 1.1 is the only catalog id with a 360p rung; the others start at 480p.
A low-resolution render is not a VHS filter. It gives you soft pixels and cheap drafts, and the tape wobble, tracking lines and date stamp still have to come from the prompt or from a later edit. Limits and rates: Video Router, read 2026-10-06.
What does a 6-second low-res clip cost?
Same 6 seconds, lowest resolution each model offers.
| Model id | Resolution | Length | Sume price | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| gemini-omni-flash-1.1 | 360p | 6 s | $0.23 | only 360p rung |
| wan-3.0 | 480p | 6 s | $0.38 | |
| minimax-h3 | 480p | 6 s | $0.38 | |
| seedance-2-mini | 480p | 6 s | $0.53 |
How do I word it?
Describe the artefacts as part of the scene: handheld camcorder, 4:3 tape frame, soft colour bleed, timestamp in the corner. Omni Flash 1.1 is limited to 16:9 and 9:16, so for a true 4:3 tape frame choose Wan 3.0, H3 or Seedance, which list 4:3. Nothing here is a benchmark; run the cheapest row first and compare.

Check the destination before you ship it. Platforms set their own minimum sizes, and a 360p clip may be rejected or upscaled badly. Sume lists a separate video upscale model if you need to lift a keeper, priced per second on its own row.

- Video filter: a live replay over 300 seconds needs a trim first
Sume video-filter takes a source of 300 seconds or less and returns output_duration_exceeded above it. Trim the live replay highlight first, then dim or crop.

Sume STT is batch, not live. Use it after the call: 500 eight-minute recordings cost about $40 a month at $0.01 a minute, with no speaker labels.
- Turn a voice memo into a narrated short: transcribe, edit, re-voice
