12 course module intros as 15-second avatar videos: $33.12
Twelve 15-second module intros with one reusable Sume avatar cost $33.12 on Standard, $44.10 on Plus and $99.00 on Max, plus $0.95 once for the avatar.
A 12-module course needs 12 short intros, and with one Sume avatar they cost $33.12 on standard, $44.10 on plus and $99.00 on max at 15 seconds each. Add $0.95 once for the avatar. Each module is its own job, so you can re-render one intro without paying for the other eleven.
What it costs
Rates are per second of the finished video, without a product image. 15 seconds x 12 modules = 180 billable seconds. Avatar rates are Sume's charged per-second tier rates from the repo rate card (standard $0.184, plus $0.245, max $0.55 without a product image); confirm them in GET /v1/catalog.
| Quality | Rate | One 15 s intro | 12 intros |
|---|---|---|---|
| standard | $0.184/s | $2.76 | $33.12 |
| plus | $0.245/s | $3.675 | $44.10 |
| max | $0.55/s | $8.25 | $99.00 |
Submit all twelve
Use the canonical POST /v1/avatar-1.0/talking-video route with the same avatar_handle. Give each module a stable Idempotency-Key so a rerun of your script does not create duplicates. Poll the jobs afterwards.

- Sume estimates duration from the script: keep each intro well inside the 4 to 60 second window.
aspect_ratiosupports 1:1, 3:4, 9:16, 4:3 and 16:9 (default 9:16). The resolution is 720p.- For Korean course intros, choose a Hangul caption style if you turn on inline captions, or Sume rejects the request.
- Preview the first frame of one module before you render all twelve; see the preview guide.
