Travel agent itinerary video from photos, voice and music
Turn a 5-day itinerary into a 45-second video on Sume: client photos, a TTS voice-over and a music bed in one Timeline render for about 26 cents.

A travel agent or tour guide can send clients an itinerary video by joining their own photos, a text-to-speech voice-over and a music bed in one Sume Timeline render. A 45-second video with about 700 characters of voice-over costs roughly 26 cents: $0.033 for the voice, $0.125 for one generated music track and $0.10 for the render. Nothing in it is generated imagery, so the hotel and the beach are the real ones.
Why not generate the destination with a video model?
Because a client is paying for a particular room and a particular view. A video model invents a plausible resort, and a mismatch is a refund request. Photos you hold the rights to, or photos from the supplier's press kit that you are licensed to use, keep the promise honest. Use generation for what you do not have, such as an abstract map-style opener, and say so.
What is the recipe?
Write one 15-word sentence per day plus a greeting and a close: seven sentences for a 5-day trip. Generate the voice from that script. Make a bed with Music 1.0, asking for an instrumental with no vocals and no spoken word so it never fights the voice. Import the photos, the voice and the music, then render with the voice as the audio spine and the music as the soundtrack.
- Slots: one photo per sentence, 5 to 6 seconds each, with a
fadetransition of about 0.4 seconds. - Soundtrack: set
duck_dbso the bed drops under the voice, andfade_out_secondsup to 10. - Fit: use
coverfor landscape photos on a vertical frame, orblurto keep a whole postcard shot visible. - Output: 1080 by 1920 by default; set width and height for a 16:9 email version.
What does it cost across a client list?
The price scales with output minutes, not photos. A personalised version for each of 20 clients, with a new greeting and the same photos, is 20 voices and 20 renders. Reuse one music bed and the music cost is paid once.
| Step | Rate | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| TTS, about 700 characters | $0.0475 per 1,000 characters | $0.033 |
| Music, one track | $0.125 per audio | $0.125 |
| Timeline render, under 1 minute | $0.10 per output minute | $0.10 |
| Total, one video | about $0.26 | |
| 20 clients, shared music | about $2.79 |
What should I check before sending?
Read the plan output for duration and segment count, and watch the finished file once with sound. Confirm prices, dates and inclusions in the text of the message, not only the voice. The 20-client figure is 20 voices at $0.033, 20 renders at $0.10 and one $0.125 track, which rounds to $2.79.
