Three pages quote $0.10 a second: Veo Fast, Runway, Omni Flash

Google's Veo 3.1 Fast (720p) and Omni Flash, and Runway's veo3.1_fast and gemini_omni_flash, all land at about $0.10 a second. Sume's Omni Flash: $0.125.

Four rows on three vendor pages come to $0.10 per second: Veo 3.1 Fast at 720p on Google, Gemini Omni Flash on Google (about $0.10), and on Runway both veo3.1_fast without audio and gemini_omni_flash at 10 credits. Sume lists Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 at $0.125 per second at 720p, and does not list Veo. A 10-second clip is $1.00 on the first three routes and $1.25 on Sume.

The rows

Google's page gives Omni Flash video output as $17.50 per million tokens, which it equates to about $0.10 per second for 720p at 5,792 tokens per second (5,792 x $17.50 / 1,000,000 = $0.1014). Runway's credits are $0.01 each.

Why the same price hides different products

Google lists the Veo Fast row as video with audio, while Runway's row is labeled no audio. Omni Flash's native audio is always on in Sume's docs, so at $0.125 a Sume clip includes sound. The 1080p tier differs too: Veo 3.1 Fast is $0.12 at 1080p on Google, while Sume's Omni Flash 1.1 is $0.1875 at 1080p.

On Sume the multiple is the standard 1.25 (0.10 x 1.25 = 0.125).

How to choose

If you want Veo, use Google or Runway; Sume does not list it. If you want Omni Flash, Google is cheapest at about $0.10, Runway matches at $0.10, and Sume adds the OpenRouter-compatible job route and USD balance for $0.025 more per second. For a longer look at this model across the three, see the Omni Flash price comparison.

Budget example

For 500 clips of 8 seconds at 720p, the three $0.10 routes cost 500 x 8 x $0.10 = $400.00. On Sume at $0.125 the same volume costs 500 x 8 x $0.125 = $500.00, so the premium is $100.00. Omni Flash accepts 3 to 10 seconds on Sume, so 8 seconds is valid, and the same request takes 16:9 or 9:16.

What I could not confirm

Google's token-to-seconds figure for Omni Flash is its own estimate. The $0.1014 in the table is my arithmetic from its token price and rate, shown so you can check it. All vendor figures were read on 2026-10-09 and are listed in the sources; Sume figures come from its public catalog and docs the same day.
