Threads AI Info label: 150 million views in October 2024, how visible?
Meta's snapshot shows Threads AI Info labels with 150M+ views and 480k+ user actions in one 2024 month. What it says about visibility for AI video on Threads.

Meta's snapshot for October 1 to 29, 2024 says Threads AI Info labels had more than 150 million views and more than 480,000 user actions. The label is seen, but the number is two years old and it covers all labeled Threads content, so it does not tell you how a single AI video will perform today.
The figures are on Meta's Transparency Center page Labeling AI content, read on 2026-10-07. The page itself carries a caveat that the data is a snapshot.
The numbers
Meta lists label views and user actions per app. Actions are what people did after seeing a label, such as opening the label for details.
| App | Label views | User actions |
|---|---|---|
| 380B+ | 26M+ | |
| 1T+ | 60M+ | |
| Threads | 150M+ | 480k+ |
How to read it
Do not compare the apps on size alone, since the page does not give the number of posts or users behind each figure.
- Threads is the smallest of the three in this table, by label views.
- Roughly one action per several hundred views is what the numbers imply for Threads. We did not calculate a rate for you because Meta does not state whether views and actions are counted the same way.
- The snapshot is from 2024. Meta's page does not give a newer one, so treat the figures as a sign that labels are shown, not as a forecast.
What a Threads video team should do
Threads accepts videos up to 5 minutes, per the official Threads account's post on video length, read on 2026-10-07. A short AI video fits well inside that.
- Disclose AI use in your own words in the post text, in addition to any label Meta applies.
- Keep one master file, since a label can apply to identical copies on Meta's apps. See the identical copies post.
- Keep the generation record from the Sume video job: job id, model, and cost from the poll response.
What we did not verify
We did not find a Meta page that reports newer label numbers or that says how a label changes reach on Threads. The label basics are in the AI Info label post, and the cross-platform rules are in AI label rules in one table.
