How many video jobs fit in the queue on Thanksgiving week, by plan
Free accepts 6 generation jobs, Pro 24, Startup 48 and Scale 120. A wave of 75 percent of the free queue space keeps you clear of queue_full on Nov 23.

A Sume account holds only so many generation jobs: Free 6, Pro 24, Startup 48, Scale 120, counting running plus queued. Past that the API answers 429 queue_full. Send waves of floor(0.75 times the free queue slots) and you stay clear of it.
The numbers
Running jobs execute now; queued jobs wait. Together they are the accepted capacity.
| Plan | Running | Queued | Accepted | First wave on an empty queue |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | 5 | 6 | 3 |
| Pro | 4 | 20 | 24 | 15 |
| Startup | 8 | 40 | 48 | 30 |
| Scale | 20 | 100 | 120 | 75 |
The wave rule
The wave_size_hint field is max(1, floor(queue_capacity_remaining times 0.75)). The empty-queue column above applies that to the queued slots. Read the hint from the response instead of hard-coding it, because the remaining capacity changes as jobs land.
Two errors that look alike
queue_full is a 429: back off and send a smaller wave. insufficient_credits is a 402: pacing does not help, you need balance. Treat them differently in retry code.
- 429 queue_full: wait for jobs to finish, then resend
- 402 insufficient_credits: top up, then resend
- Never retry a 402 on a timer
Thanksgiving is Nov 26, 2026
That is 53 days away. If your clip count is higher than your plan's accepted capacity, split it into waves across several days instead of buying a bigger plan for one week.
