Sync Labs max video length by plan vs Sume avatar video limit
Sync Labs caps video at 1, 5 or 10 minutes on its lower plans. A Sume avatar video job covers 4 to 60 seconds; split longer scripts into several jobs.
Sync Labs gates video length by plan: up to 1 minute on Hobbyist, 5 on Creator, 10 on Growth, and 30 on Scale. A Sume avatar video job is a fixed window instead: scripts and multi-scene plans are accepted when Sume estimates the target duration at 4 to 60 seconds inclusive, and longer scripts must be shortened or split into multiple jobs.
Sync facts are from its pricing page; Sume facts from Avatar videos, read 2026-10-01.
What does each Sync Labs plan allow?
| Plan | Video up to | Jobs at a time |
|---|---|---|
| Hobbyist | 1 min | 1 |
| Creator | 5 min | 3 |
| Growth | 10 min | 6 |
| Scale | 30 min | 15 |
What is the Sume limit, and does the plan change it?
The avatar videos page states 4 to 60 seconds and does not tie that window to a plan. The check is on Sume's estimated duration of the script, so a script that runs long has to be shortened or split; see avatar video longer than 60 seconds.
How do I get a longer video on Sume?
Split the script into several jobs and assemble the clips afterwards. The docs point to Timeline 1.0 for sequencing several clips, and to its audio.parts[] for joining audio for one render. Timeline compose, which holds a still over a video, has a ceiling of 300 seconds and can never lengthen a clip. These are separate surfaces from avatar video, so check each page for its inputs.
Which one should I pick for a 20-minute talk?
If the source is an existing long video that needs new mouth movement, a plan with a long cap on Sync Labs matches that shape. If you are building a talking clip from a script and a still, plan for sub-minute pieces on Sume. For the long-video case from the Sume side, read lip sync long video over 5 minutes.
