Sume image markup at 10,000 images: list vs billed price per model
What the 1.25x house margin adds at 10,000 images per Sume image model, from $50 on Qwen Image and Grok Imagine to $527 on ChatGPT Image 2.

Sume bills image models at the provider's list price times 1.25, so the margin is 25% of list, or 20% of what you pay. At 10,000 images that is $50 on the cheapest edit models and about $527 on ChatGPT Image 2 at its high 1024 rate.
The docs state that endpoint pricing lines already include Sume's margin, and the Sume docs describe the 1.25 factor for the video router; the image catalog rows follow the same factor (Ideogram 4.5 medium lists at $0.06 and sells at $0.075). The list column below is the billed price divided by 1.25.
Margin per 10,000 images
Use this to decide whether a volume job is worth running on a direct vendor account instead. The margin is a fixed share of each image, so it scales linearly with volume and does not depend on resolution.

What the margin buys and what it does not
The billed price is the amount charged to your wallet: the docs say cost_usd x n is what you pay, with the margin already applied, and only completed generations are billed. Each response reports the figure in usage.cost, so the margin is not a separate line item you have to reconcile.
If your volume is steady and one model, a direct vendor contract can undercut these numbers; if you switch between five models, one wallet and one request shape often matters more than the margin. Either way, run the numbers on your own mix.
- $50: Imagen 4 Fast, Grok Imagine, Qwen Image (Soul is $10).
- $65 to $100: Seedream 4.0, Flux 2 Pro, Seedream 5.0 Lite, Seedream 4.5, Recraft V4.
- $125 to $150: Flux 2 Flex, ChatGPT Image 2.5 (both ids), Imagen 4 Ultra, Ideogram V3 and 4.5 at medium.
- $187.50 to $527.50: Qwen Image Max, Nano Banana 2, Nano Banana Pro, ChatGPT Image 2.

Rows change when a vendor changes its list, so read the number from the endpoints record at run time rather than from a blog table. A one-line check:
