Seedance 2.5 on Sume offers 21:9, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4 and 9:16 (plus auto). It has no 4:5, so a skincare routine clip for a portrait feed should be rendered at 3:4 and cropped. A 12-second 3:4 clip at 720p (834x1112) costs $6.98; at 480p (560x752) it is $3.17; at 1080p (1251x1668) it is $17.17.

3:4 is 0.75 wide to tall and 4:5 is 0.8, so a crop from 3:4 to 4:5 removes a strip from the top and bottom (about 6.25% of the height) and keeps the full width. Plan the product where the crop will not touch it.

Price by resolution

Prices are for a 12-second clip; the 4:3 and 3:4 token counts are identical, so landscape and portrait cost the same.

Beats and repairs

A routine clip is steps: cleanse, serum, moisturizer. One 12-second job gives you about three beats of 4 seconds. If one step is wrong, a single 4-second job (the minimum) costs $2.33 at 720p to redo, and you cut it in on a timeline.

Send a packshot of the product as a reference image so the bottle shape and label color hold; ask for the motion, not the label text. Beauty claims, before-and-after footage and real skin results are an advertising-policy matter, not a model setting: check the platform rules before you post.

After the render

The crop to 4:5 is a separate step. The crop post shows the Sume video filter call.
