Six angles of one product: Nano Banana 2.1, two calls, $0.90 at 2K
Six product angles from one reference photo on Nano Banana 2.1 take two calls (n=4, then n=2) and cost $0.90 at 2K on Sume. Prompt pattern and price table.

Six angles of one product from a single photo cost $0.90 at 2K on Sume with google/nano-banana-2.1: one call with n: 4 and one with n: 2, six images at $0.15 each. The catalog caps n at 4 for this model, so six images cannot go in one request.
Request plan
Send the product photo as the only entry in input_references on both calls and keep the prompt wording identical except for the angle list. Nano Banana 2.1 accepts 0 to 10 references on Sume, so one photo leaves room to add a second reference, such as a logo, later.
One prompt per call returns variations of that prompt, not a fixed set of angles. If you need exactly front, back, left, right, top and three-quarter, make six single-image calls with one angle per prompt instead. The price is the same, since billing is per image.
| Plan | Calls | Images | Arithmetic | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| n=4 plus n=2 | 2 | 6 | 6 x $0.15 | $0.90 |
| Six single calls, one angle each | 6 | 6 | 6 x $0.15 | $0.90 |
| Same at 1K | 2 | 6 | 6 x $0.10 | $0.60 |
| Same at 4K | 2 | 6 | 6 x $0.20 | $1.20 |
Prompt pattern
Name what must not change, then the one thing that does: "Keep the bottle, label and cap identical. Show it from directly above on a white sweep, soft shadow." Use aspect_ratio: "auto" so the output keeps the shape of your photo; per the docs, leaving the field out is not the same.
When one reference is not enough
Google's pricing page promises multi-turn character consistency for Nano Banana 2.1, but that describes a chat flow. The Sume API is a single request per image, so consistency comes from the reference you send. If an angle drifts, add a second photo of that side of the product as another reference.
Cost of the retry rule
If a call returns a bad angle, the fix is one more image, not a re-run of the set. Budget a 25% retry allowance: for six images at 2K that is 1.5 extra images, round up to 2, or 2 x $0.15 = $0.30. With the allowance the six-angle set costs about $1.20 at 2K.
For 50 products the arithmetic scales: 50 x $0.90 = $45.00 for the base set and about $60.00 with the retry allowance (50 x $1.20). At 1K the same plan is $30.00 base, $40.00 with retries.
Keep the original photo in every call. Chaining, where you edit the previous output, accumulates drift, because each step is a fresh generation.
What this plan does not cover
Cost: the Sume price is per image, so the plan does not change with the number of calls. Quality: nothing here claims that six angles will match each other. Test one product first and look at the label, the proportions and the cap on each angle before you run a catalog.
Rights: only upload photos you have the right to use. Reference URLs must be public HTTPS, and Sume rejects localhost, private-network and non-HTTPS URLs before submission, so a photo on a private bucket needs a signed public link first. The media inputs docs describe the rules.
