Seedance 2.5 pro tools vs the Sume API: which fields exist
Sume exposes Seedance 2.5 by prompt, frames, references, duration and resolution. No white-model, green-screen or blocking field is documented. Read 2026-10-13

No: the Sume docs do not describe any API field for white-model, green-screen or blocking tools on seedance-2.5. What the API gives you is the standard video request: prompt, duration (4-30 s), resolution (480p, 720p, 1080p), aspect ratio, first and end frames, and reference images, videos and audio. If a vendor tool has no field in the docs, treat it as unavailable through Sume.
What you can control
The controls below are the ones the Video Router doc lists for the row.
| Control | On Sume |
|---|---|
| Prompt | yes |
| Duration | 4-30 s |
| Resolution | 480p, 720p, 1080p |
| First and end frame | yes |
| Reference images, clips, audio | yes (input_references) |
bitrate_mode | not accepted |
| White-model, green-screen, blocking | no documented field |
What to do instead
Describe the staging in the prompt, use a first frame to fix the starting layout, and use references for the look of a subject. For camera blocking, a first and end frame pair gives the model both ends of the move. If you need a clean cut-out, generate on a plain backdrop and key it in your editor; that is a workflow choice, not a Sume feature.
