Seedance 2.5, 2.0 and Mini on Luma: credits a second in dollars
Luma lists Seedance 2.5 at 36, 78 and 191 credits a second, 2.0 at 24, 51 and 126, and Mini at 12 and 26. Sume runs about 2.2 to 2.5 times Plus.

On a monthly Luma Plus plan, Seedance 2.5 costs $0.108, $0.234 and $0.573 a second at 480p, 720p and 1080p, Seedance 2.0 costs $0.072, $0.153 and $0.378, and Seedance 2.0 Mini costs $0.036 and $0.078 at 480p and 720p. Sume's rates for the same three models are about 2.2 to 2.5 times higher at each resolution.
Annual Ultra at about $0.0017 a credit is the cheapest Luma price, and it widens the gap to roughly 4 to 4.5 times.
What do the three models cost per second on each side?
Credits per second come from Luma's pricing page: Seedance 2.5 at 36, 78 and 191; Seedance 2.0 at 24, 51 and 126; Seedance 2.0 Mini at 12 and 26 for the two resolutions it lists. Plus is $30 a month for 10,000 credits, or $0.003 a credit; annual Ultra is $250 a month for 150,000, or about $0.001667. Sume's figures are the 16:9 rates from its Seedance token estimator, which sit under the Video Router's list times 1.25 rule.

Why is Sume this much higher?
Sume adds a 25% margin to the provider's list rate, which its docs state plainly. Luma's per-second figure depends on a monthly pool, and a pool you do not finish makes it worse, not better. At full use, the plan is cheaper per second on every row in the table.
Which one should I pick, then?
Pick the plan if you reliably spend most of a pool every month on Seedance, and pick per-second billing if you cannot predict volume or need the Sume API, the Video Router's other models, and one balance across media. Sume's Mini row is the best entry point: at 480p it is $0.0879 a second, which is $0.44 for a 5-second test clip.
The same break-even in clips a month is in Seedance 2.5 clips: plan fee vs pay-per-use. Sume's own resolution steps are in Seedance 2.5 price per second.
How do I rerun this with my own plan?
Divide your plan fee by its credits, multiply by the credits per second above, and compare with the Sume column. Do the same with your actual spend, not the pool, if you leave credits unused.
