Revid Growth's 2,000 credits vs Sume per-second prices, 30 s
Revid lists 40 to 80 credits for a 30-second video, about $0.78 to $1.56 each on its $39 plan. Sume avatar video is $5.52 to $16.50 per 30 seconds.

A 30-second Revid video costs about $0.78 to $1.56 in plan credits, and a 30-second Sume avatar video costs $5.52 to $16.50. That gap is real, but the two are not the same product: Revid assembles short-form videos, while Sume bills a model's seconds of output.
Revid's pricing page, read on 2026-10-04, lists a Growth plan at $39 a month with 2,000 credits and says a typical 30-second video uses 40 to 80 credits. At that rate the plan covers 25 to 50 videos a month, which is $39 divided by 50 and by 25: $0.78 to $1.56 each if you spend every credit.
Sume's side, per second
Sume's avatar video takes a script of 4 to 60 seconds and bills per second by quality tier. The list rates are $0.184 (standard), $0.245 (plus, the default) and $0.55 (max) per second without a product image. A 30-second clip is therefore $5.52, $7.35 or $16.50.
| Option | Basis | 30 seconds |
|---|---|---|
| Revid Growth | 40 to 80 credits of 2,000 for $39 | $0.78 to $1.56 |
| Sume avatar, standard | $0.184 per second | $5.52 |
| Sume avatar, plus | $0.245 per second | $7.35 |
| Sume avatar, max | $0.55 per second | $16.50 |
| Sume Gemini Omni Flash 1.1, 720p | $0.125 per second | $3.75 |
Why the numbers are far apart
The Sume figures are one model generating every second of picture, with a talking avatar or native audio. I did not record what a single Revid video contains, so comparing totals tells you what each bill looks like, not which output is better.
Sume's Omni Flash row is the nearest match for a short generated clip. Video generation and the video router describe it as 3 to 10 seconds with native audio, so a 30-second piece is three clips, plus a Timeline render to join them at $0.10 a minute.
How to choose
- You want many cheap, template-shaped shorts a month: a credit plan prices that better.
- You want a specific person speaking a script, billed per second with no minimum: Sume avatar video.
- You want to check a Timeline job before paying: its plan call is unbilled.
