One silent walkthrough video can carry two languages if you make two narration tracks and join each with Timeline. At $0.0475 per 1,000 characters of text-to-speech, a 600-character script is $0.0285, and the render and captions bring a finished 60-second version to about $0.34 per language.

Start with the silent clip of the property. Write the English script, translate it, and keep both to a similar length so one cut fits both.

The cost per language

For a 60-second walkthrough with a 900-character script per language, using Sume list rates:

One 60-second language version, Sume list rates read 2026-10-04
StepRateCost
Text-to-speech, 900 characters$0.0475 per 1,000$0.043
Timeline render, 1 minute$0.10 per minute$0.10
Burned captions$0.20 per job$0.20
Total per language$0.343

How the steps fit

Generate each track and read its duration. Then send a Timeline request with the silent video in video[] and the narration as the audio spine. Use POST /v1/timeline-1.0/plan first: it is unbilled and shows whether the pieces fit. Finally, burn captions in the viewer's language with the captions endpoint.

Spanish usually runs longer than English by a noticeable amount, so check the second track against the video length before you render, and trim the script and not the picture.

Review before you post

Have a native speaker read the translation. A listing video states facts about a property, and a wrong word in a caption is worse than no caption.
