Product shots from one photo: 14 Sume edit models, 3 to 27 cents
A product-shot edit from one reference photo works on 14 Sume image models. 100 shots cost $3 to $27. Which also take 4:5, and when to use 16 references.

Fourteen of the 19 Sume image models can turn one product photo into a new scene, and 100 shots cost from $3 (Grok Imagine, Qwen Image) to $27 (ChatGPT Image 2) at list. The practical shortlist is Seedream 5.0 Lite at 5 cents, GPT Image 2.5 at 7 and Nano Banana 2.1 at 10, because each lists 4:5, 9:16 and 16:9.
Cost of 100 and 500 product shots
The prices below are the billed catalog rates (list x 1.25, rounded up to the cent). GPT Image 2.5 adds input tokens for the reference at admission, so its edit calls can be somewhat above the 7-cent catalog figure.
| Model | Billed per image | 100 shots | 500 shots | Lists 4:5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grok Imagine | 3 cents | $3 | $15 | no |
| Qwen Image | 3 cents | $3 | $15 | yes |
| Flux 2 Pro | 4 cents | $4 | $20 | yes |

| ChatGPT Image 2.5 | 7 cents | $7 | $35 | yes |
| ChatGPT Image 2.5 Sunburst | 7 cents | $7 | $35 | yes |
| Ideogram V3 | 8 cents | $8 | $40 | yes |
| Ideogram 4.5 | 8 cents | $8 | $40 | yes |
| Nano Banana 2.1 | 10 cents | $10 | $50 | yes |

| ChatGPT Image 2 | 27 cents | $27 | $135 | yes |
Request pattern
Send the product photo as one input_references entry of type image_url, set aspect_ratio to auto to match the source or to a ratio such as 4:5 for a listing, and describe the new scene in the prompt. Reference URLs must be public HTTPS. For a masked change, the docs describe mask_url for the GPT Image 2.5 rows.
With several photos of one item, such as front, back and a label close-up, GPT Image 2.5 is the only catalog row that lists 16 references. Ideogram 4.5 handles 5, with the first as the edit target.
- One reference, many scenes: Seedream 5.0 Lite or Flux 2 Pro, 4 to 5 cents.
- Many references of one item: GPT Image 2.5, 7 cents at high.
- Label or packaging text that must stay legible: test Ideogram 4.5 at 8 cents.
Keep the test small
Generate 20 shots on each of three models before choosing. That is $0.60 to $2.00 per model, and it tells you far more than a price table.
A budget for a catalog
For a 200-product catalog with 5 scenes each, that is 1,000 edits. On Seedream 5.0 Lite that is $50, on GPT Image 2.5 at high about $70 before input tokens, and on Nano Banana 2.1 $100. Add a 10 percent rerun allowance for rejects and plan $55 to $110. Failed jobs are not billed, but images you reject after seeing them are.

Recraft V4 on Sume bills 5 cents per image, is text-to-image only and lists webp as its only output format. A short Pillow script converts results to PNG.
- Grep for nano-banana-2 in your code: those calls bill as 2.1
Retired Nano Banana 2 ids still run on Sume, as 2.1 at 10 cents at 1K. A grep-and-replace plan so logs, tests and cost sheets name the model that ran.
- Same Omni video twice: no seed, but a replay returns it
