Podcast network: transcripts, cover art and stings for 12 episodes
12 episodes of 45 minutes, four Ideogram 4.5 cover options each and three music stings each cost about $14.24 a month on Sume. Unit prices and the sum.

A small podcast network needs three recurring things per episode: a transcript for show notes and captions, cover art, and short music stings for the clips. This post prices 12 episodes a month, each 45 minutes, with four cover options per episode and three music stings per episode.
Sume prices every job at the vendor list price × 1.25, then adds a 5.5% fee on that result, so $1.00 of list becomes $1.31875 (how the formula works). The tables below show both the catalog price (list × 1.25) and the all-in figure with the fee.
The monthly bill
| Line | Volume | All-in unit price | Monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Transcripts (Sume STT) | 540 min | $0.01055 / min | $5.70 |
| Cover art (Ideogram 4.5 medium) | 48 images | $0.079125 | $3.80 |
| Music stings (Lyria 3.5, flat per track) | 36 tracks | $0.131875 | $4.75 |
What moves it
The sum is $14.24, or $1.19 an episode. Transcripts are the smallest line, at $0.47 for a 45-minute episode; the music is the largest because a track is a flat charge no matter how short the sting is. Cutting stings to one per episode saves $3.17.
Sume STT does not label speakers, so a transcript that must say who spoke needs a separate pass of your own.
