Plumber, electrician or HVAC promo video from phone clips
Turn three phone clips into a 30-second promo for a trade business: trim each clip, join them in Timeline 1.0, then burn your service area and phone number.

A trade business can get a promo video from three phone clips with three API calls: Video trim on each clip ($0.02 per trim), Timeline 1.0 to join them (about $0.10 for a minute of output), and Video captions with cues for the service area and phone number ($0.20). That is about $0.38 plus any music; rates are from the Sume docs, read 2026-10-03. The footage has to be yours and has to show real work, since that is what makes it original.
Shoot for the cut
Film vertically, hold each shot for 8 to 10 seconds, and keep the lens still. Three shots are enough: the van or the problem, the work, and the finished job. Customers' faces, house numbers and plates should stay out of frame unless you have permission.
| Step | Endpoint | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Trim each clip to its best 8 seconds | Video trim x3 | $0.06 |
| Join the three trims with fades | Timeline 1.0, one minute | $0.10 |
| Burn area and phone number | Video captions with cues | $0.20 |
Put the call to action last
Cue one reads the business name for the first third, cue two reads the service area, and cue three reads the phone number for the last 8 seconds. Keep the number on screen long enough to be typed. Test the cue position on a phone, since the bottom of a vertical frame is covered by platform controls.
What this does not do
It does not write copy, check licensing claims, or verify that your insurance and licence details are displayed where local rules ask. Those are yours.
