Pictory AI credits in dollars: Starter $0.29, Professional $0.118
Pictory's AI credits cost $0.29 each on Starter monthly, $0.118 on Professional and $0.083 on Team. Annual billing brings them to $0.25, $0.035 and $0.05.

Pictory's pricing page grants AI credits separately from video minutes, and dividing price by credits gives $0.290 on Starter, $0.118 on Professional and $0.083 on Team billed monthly. Annual billing gives $0.250, $0.035 and $0.050 a credit. Read 2026-10-03.
Starter's credit is the outlier: it costs about 2.5 times Professional's on monthly billing and about 7 times on annual billing.
The credits and what they cost
The page lists monthly plans at $29 (200 video minutes, 100 AI credits), $59 (600 minutes, 500 credits) and $199 (1,800 minutes, 2,400 credits), and annual plans at $25, $35 and $119 a month with 1,200, 12,000 and 28,800 AI credits a year. The page does not say what one AI credit buys, so these are plan-price-over-credits figures, not a cost per generated asset.
| Plan | Monthly price | AI credits per month | $ per credit (monthly) | Annual price (12 x per-month) | AI credits per year | $ per credit (annual) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29 | 100 | $0.290 | $300 | 1,200 | $0.250 |
| Professional | $59 | 500 | $0.118 | $420 | 12,000 | $0.035 |
| Team | $199 | 2400 | $0.083 | $1,428 | 28,800 | $0.050 |
Where the cheap credit is
The cheapest credit on the page is Professional on annual billing at $0.035, not Team's $0.050. Team has more of everything, but its annual credit is 1.4 times the Professional price. If AI credits are the reason you are buying, the middle plan is the sweet spot on paper.
Annual billing makes the larger credit jump: Professional's annual credit pool is 12,000 against 500 a month on monthly billing, which is 6,000 a year, so annual doubles the credits as well as lowering the price.
Against fixed-price jobs
Sume has no AI credit. A timeline render is $0.10 per output minute, a standalone caption job is $0.20 and a Music 1.0 generation is $0.125, from the repo's fixed prices. Because Pictory does not state what a credit buys, I cannot convert; if you can read your balance before and after one job you can compute a Pictory price per job and set it beside those numbers.
Limits
Spend a few credits on a representative job before comparing plans.
- The page does not define an AI credit, so a per-asset price is not derivable.
- Annual figures multiply the per-month annual price by 12.
- All plans list a free trial; the table does not price it.
