One brief, two outputs: 6-slide carousel and 15-second reel, $2.448
A 6-slide image carousel plus a 15-second Wan 3.0 reel with voice, music and render costs $2.448 on Sume list prices. Line items, swaps and a monthly total.

A 6-slide carousel and a 15-second reel from the same brief cost $2.448 on Sume list prices: $0.33375 for six GPT Image 2.5 slides at medium quality and 2K, and $2.11425 for the reel. The reel is 86 percent of the total, and 15 seconds of Wan 3.0 at 720p is $1.875 of it.
Line items
The slides use the medium 2K tier of GPT Image 2.5. The reel is 15 seconds of Wan 3.0 at 720p, a 300-character voiceover, one Music 1.0 track and a timeline render, which bills 15 seconds as one minute.
| Part | Math | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Carousel | 6 x gpt-image-2.5 medium 2K at 0.055625 | $0.33375 |
| Reel footage | 15 s x wan-3.0 720p at 0.125 | $1.8750 |
| Reel voice | 300 characters x 0.0475 / 1,000 | $0.01425 |
| Reel music | 1 x Music 1.0 | $0.125 |
| Reel render | 15 s = 1 billed minute x 0.10 | $0.10 |
| Total | $2.44800 |
Swaps and what they change
Move the slides to Nano Banana 2.1 at 2K ($0.15) and the carousel becomes 6 x 0.15 = $0.90, which adds $0.56625 and brings the total to $3.01425. Move the reel to Wan at 480p (15 x 0.0625 = $0.9375) and the total falls to $1.51 (0.33375 + 0.9375 + 0.01425 + 0.125 + 0.10 = $1.5105).
Seedance 2 is another option: the 15-second maximum at 480p is 15 x $0.17577 = $2.63655, which raises the total to $3.21 with the same slides. The decision is the one in the table: the reel line dominates, so model choice for the video is where a budget is won or lost.
A month of this
One brief a week for four weeks is 4 x $2.448 = $9.792. Three briefs a week for four weeks is 12 x $2.448 = $29.376. Add a 30 percent allowance for rejected takes on the reel only (0.3 x $1.875 = $0.5625 per brief) and 12 briefs cost 12 x ($2.448 + $0.5625) = $36.126.
Keep the two parts in separate cost lines in your own tracking. A carousel that is fine on the first pass and a reel that needs three takes are different problems with different fixes.
Keep the formats apart
Treat the carousel and the reel as separate cost lines even though they share a brief.
- Carousel: 6 slides, $0.33375, retake price $0.055625 per slide.
- Reel: footage $1.875, retake price $1.875 per take.
- A bad slide costs 3 cents to redo; a bad reel costs more than five times a whole carousel (1.875 / 0.33375 = 5.6).
- Review the carousel first, because it is cheap, and use it to fix the message before you pay for motion.
Where the brief decides the cost
The brief fixes the reel length before any money is spent, and that length is the lever. A 15-second reel is $1.875 on Wan at 720p; a 10-second one is $1.25; a 6-second one is $0.75. Cutting five seconds saves $0.625 per brief, or $7.50 across twelve briefs, which is more than the entire carousel line for all twelve ($4.005 at $0.33375 each).
