Omni resolution values: 4K, lowercase 4k, and what is rejected
Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 on Sume takes 360p, 720p, 1080p and 4K. The catalog also accepts lowercase 4k as an alias. Which strings fail, and the price of each.

Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 on Sume takes four resolution values: 360p, 720p, 1080p and 4K. The model catalog notes that 4K is sent to the provider as 4k and that a lowercase 4k in your request is accepted as an alias. Strings that other Sume video models take, such as 480p or 768p, are not in the Omni list.
Values by model family
The Video generation docs list the resolution names that exist across the catalog, and add that each model shows the subset it accepts in supported_resolutions. For Omni the subset is the four below.
| String | Omni Flash 1.1 | Billable per second |
|---|---|---|
| 360p | yes | 3.75 cents |
| 480p | no | not offered |
| 720p | yes (edit default) | 12.5 cents |
| 768p | no | not offered |
| 1080p | yes | 18.75 cents |
| 1K / 2K | no | not offered |
| 4K (or 4k) | yes | 37.5 cents |
Check the list before you submit
Do not hard-code the strings in a client. Call GET /v1/video-router/models/gemini-omni-flash-1.1 or GET /v1/videos/models and read the supported resolutions, durations and aspect ratios. A drop-down in your app can then be built from the response, and a new tier will appear without a deploy.
If you send a string the model does not list, expect a validation error. Treat the error body as the source of truth.
curl "https://api.sume.com/v1/videos/models" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY"Cost at the top tier
4K at 10 s is 10 x 37.5 = 375 cents, $3.75. The same clip at 1080p is $1.88 (187.5 rounded up to 188 cents). Because the rounding is per clip, the 4K total has no leftover half cent, while the 1080p one does.
Keep the casing consistent in logs and budgets. A job logged as 4k and another as 4K price the same, but a grouped report will split them unless you normalize.
The same length at every tier
For reference, a 10-second Omni Flash clip at each resolution. Every price is the seconds times the billable rate, rounded up to a whole cent, as of 2026-10-08.
| Resolution | Arithmetic | Billed |
|---|---|---|
| 360p | 10 x 3.75 = 37.5 cents | $0.38 |
| 720p | 10 x 12.5 = 125 cents | $1.25 |
| 1080p | 10 x 18.75 = 187.5 cents | $1.88 |
| 4K | 10 x 37.5 = 375 cents | $3.75 |
Limits to remember
These apply to every request on this page, from the Video Router and Video generation docs:
- Length is 3 to 10 whole seconds in generation modes; an edit takes no duration.
- Aspect ratio is 16:9 or 9:16; an edit takes no aspect ratio.
- Native synced audio is always on, and
generate_audio: falseis rejected. - There is no
bitrate_mode, no reference audio and noseed. - Billing is the provider list times 1.25 per output second, reserved at submit and shown in
usage.cost.
