Resolution names to use
Native H3 output on Sume is 480p or 768p. 768p is first-class here, not 720p, so a request for 720p is rejected; send 768p. The docs state that Sume bills 2K and 4K upscales when your request includes them, so confirm the live quote for the combination you submit before relying on the table, since the upscale may be priced on top of the native pass.
Submit a 15 second clip
The accepted length is 5 to 15 seconds. This request asks for the maximum at 768p:
curl -X POST https://api.sume.com/v1/videos \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"model":"minimax-h3","prompt":"A street market at night, handheld","duration":15,"resolution":"768p"}'A draft-then-final pattern
At $0.9375 for 15 seconds at 480p, a draft is under a dollar. Render two or three drafts, pick one, then render the keeper at 768p for $1.125. Only request the 2K or 4K upscale on a clip you have already approved, since that step is the expensive one. Remember that a re-render is a new generation, so decide whether the draft is for composition or for sign-off before you commit.
Caveats
- H3 audio is native stereo and always on;
generate_audio: falseis rejected. - Reference images beyond the first five add a surcharge ($0.10 each on Sume).
minimax-h3-maxis the faster variant with its own rates; see the id comparison post.- MiniMax's page was the only vendor source read for H3 facts here; the Max variant dates were not confirmed from the vendor.
