MiniMax H3 10-second 768p clip: $0.80 direct, $1.02 Runway, $0.75 Sume
One 10-second 768p image-to-video clip priced on MiniMax's page, Runway's credits and Sume's catalog, for H3 and H3 Max, with the image fee shown.

A 10-second 768p MiniMax H3 image-to-video clip with one start frame costs $0.80 on MiniMax's pay-as-you-go page, $1.02 on Runway (102 credits at one cent each), and $0.75 on Sume's catalog. For H3 Max the three figures are $0.80, $0.80 and $1.00. The same model family can therefore be cheaper or dearer on a reseller depending on the row and the add-on fees.
| Model | MiniMax direct | Runway | Sume |
|---|---|---|---|
| MiniMax H3 (hailuo3 on Runway, minimax-h3 on Sume) | $0.80 (10 x $0.08; first 5 images free) | $1.02 (10 x 10 credits + 2 credits for the start frame) | $0.75 (10 x $0.075) |
| MiniMax H3 Max (h3_max on Runway, minimax-h3-max on Sume) | $0.80 (10 x $0.08; first 2 images free) | $0.80 (10 x 8 credits) | $1.00 (10 x $0.10) |
Where each number comes from
MiniMax lists MiniMax-H3 at $0.08 per second at 768P and $0.13 at 2K, and MiniMax-H3-Max at $0.05 at 480P and $0.08 at 768P. Image inputs are free up to a count (5 for H3, 2 for H3 Max) and priced after that. Runway charges 10 credits per second for hailuo3 at 768P plus 2 credits per reference image or keyframe including an image-to-video start frame, and 8 credits per second for h3_max at 768p; credits cost $0.01 each. Runway's model page shows hailuo3 as 'From $0.10/sec' and h3_max as 'From $0.05/sec'.
Sume's per-second rows are $0.0625 (480p) and $0.075 (768p) for minimax-h3, and $0.0625, $0.10 and $0.20 (480p, 768p, 1080p) for minimax-h3-max. Sume bills its provider list times 1.25: for H3 Max at 768p, $0.08 x 1.25 = $0.10. The minimax-h3 row is not derived from MiniMax's published $0.08 and sits below it, so do not assume that Sume's price is always the vendor list plus 25 percent.
Which one to pick
If price is the only criterion at 768p, the cheapest of the listed combinations is minimax-h3 on Sume at $0.75, then MiniMax direct and Runway h3_max at $0.80. If you use many reference images, the add-on fees matter: MiniMax's H3 gives 5 free images, H3 Max only 2 and then $0.074 each, so a 6-image reference job on H3 Max has 4 x $0.074 = $0.296 of image fees on MiniMax's page.
On Sume, the video docs state that minimax-h3 accepts 5 to 15 seconds at native 480p or 768p, and minimax-h3-max accepts 5 to 15 seconds at 480p, 768p and 1080p, with 1080p produced by a latent refinement from native 768p. Both accept image, video and audio references according to the docs.
