Meta One plans at $3.99 to $19.99 vs per-job clip tools on Sume
Meta One plans run $2.99 to $19.99 a month. Sume charges per job: captions $0.20, music $0.125, trim $0.02. What $19.99 buys in jobs, and when each fits.

A $19.99 Meta One Premium month equals about 99 caption jobs, or 159 Music 1.0 generations, or 999 trims on Sume's per-job prices, but the two are not substitutes: Meta One sells access inside Meta's apps, while Sume sells API jobs you call from your own workflow. Choose the subscription if you create inside Instagram, and choose per-job pricing if you produce clips in volume outside it.
Meta's announcement (read 2026-10-04), dated September 2026, lists the consumer plans and says Meta One reports 15 million subscriptions and trials to date. It mentions Edits Plus as coming soon, with more cloud storage and extra use of an upcoming Edits assistant.
What do the Meta One plans cost?
The page lists these monthly prices. Business tiers start at $14.99 for Essential and rise to $499 for Max, each shown as a starting price.
| Plan | Price per month |
|---|---|
| WhatsApp Plus | $2.99 |
| Instagram Plus | $3.99 |
| Facebook Plus | $3.99 |
| Core bundle | $7.99 |
| Premium bundle | $19.99 |
What do Sume's per-job prices look like?
Each job is billed on its own, with no monthly minimum stated on the model pages. The figures below come from the linked docs pages; the last column is simple division of $19.99 by the job price, rounded down.
| Job | Price | Jobs for $19.99 |
|---|---|---|
| Video captions, up to 60 seconds | $0.20 per job | 99 |
| Music 1.0 generation | $0.125 per generation | 159 |
| Timeline render | $0.10 per output minute, rounded up | 199 one-minute renders |
| Video trim | $0.02 per job | 999 |
| Audio detach | $0.01 per job | 1999 |
Which one fits which creator?
If you edit a handful of Reels a week on your phone, a $3.99 or $19.99 plan inside the app is simpler, and I would not push an API at you. If you cut 50 clips a day for several accounts, or you need a file that lands in several apps, per-job pricing scales with what you actually run and nothing else.
Neither side replaces a disclosure decision. The stored table on AI label rules across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Meta covers what to flag, and the post on captions from a script compares Edits captions to Sume's.
What is not comparable?
Meta's page does not state per-feature limits for the AI tools in each plan, so this post makes no claim that a Meta One feature equals a Sume job. Generated video on Sume is separate again: it is billed at the provider list price times 1.25 and varies by model, so check GET /v1/videos/models for current numbers before budgeting.
