The production tools are the part most relevant if you make videos with AI, so they come first.

These are listed for completeness; none of them involves generating video.
- Live: Live showdowns (creators merge their streams for head-to-head competitions), real-time auto dubbing, and an expansion of Watch With to long form videos.
- Community: members-only spaces and AI-powered comment moderation.
- Partnerships: YouTube Creator Partnerships, and Ask Studio will soon help craft responses to brand briefs.
- Shopping: the affiliate program is expanding to 35 countries by the end of the year, and product tags update automatically to show localized offers.
What is new for viewers?
YouTube says that soon you can design homepage feeds with conversational prompts such as "Witty podcasts for my daily 30-minute commute", and save multiple custom feeds. It is also expanding Ask YouTube as a product recommendation guide.
What does this mean if I make videos with Sume?
Nothing in the post concerns Sume, and Sume's docs do not list any of these YouTube tools. Sume makes the video file; YouTube's editing, thumbnail and testing tools work on your channel side.
