Luma Ray 2 5-second keyframes: Sume rows with start and end frames
Luma's API makes Ray 2 clips up to 5 s from start and end keyframes. Sume has no Luma row; these Sume rows accept both frames and cover a 5-second clip.

Sume has no Luma Ray row, but six Sume rows accept a start and end frame for a 5-second clip: Seedance 2.5, Kling Video v3 Pro, Wan 3.0, MiniMax H3, MiniMax H3 Max and Gemini Omni Flash 1.1. Luma's video generation page lists Ray 2 and Ray 2 Flash, durations up to 5 seconds, and image-to-video from a start frame, an end frame or both (Luma API, read 2026-10-10).
The two things people lose in a port are Luma's extend and interpolate features and the 540p tier, which Sume does not have.
What Luma documents
The page lists resolutions 540p, 720p, 1080p and 4k, aspect ratios you can set, a loop option, and extend, reverse-extend and interpolate-between-two-videos operations that use earlier generations as keyframes. It also describes status updates through a callback (dreaming, completed, failed). Sume's webhook is similar in purpose: send callback_url over HTTPS and Sume posts a signed job envelope when the job ends, documented on the Video Generation page.
The Sume rows that cover it
All of these accept 5 seconds and both frames; resolutions differ.
| Row | Duration | Resolutions | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Luma Ray 2 (Luma) | Up to 5 s | 540p, 720p, 1080p, 4k | Extend, loop and interpolate |
| Seedance 2.5 | 4 to 30 s | 480p, 720p, 1080p | Also references |
| Kling Video v3 Pro | 4 to 15 s | 1080p | No references |
| Wan 3.0 | 2 to 30 s | 480p, 720p, 1080p | Also references |
| MiniMax H3 / H3 Max | 5 to 15 s | 480p, 768p (+2K, 4K / 1080p) | Native audio always on |
| Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 | 3 to 10 s | 360p, 720p, 1080p, 4K | 16:9 or 9:16 only |
What does not port
Luma's extend-from-video and interpolate-two-videos operations have no counterpart in the catalog. The Omni row can edit a source video, but that is an edit with a prompt, not an extension. Loop is not a Sume parameter either; for a loop, make the end frame the same still as the first frame on a row that takes both, and check the seam.
Resolution mapping
Luma's 540p has no Sume twin; 480p is the closest lower tier and 720p the next. For a 4k request, Omni Flash lists 4K and MiniMax H3 lists 4K as an upscale of native 768p. The catalog notes MiniMax H3's 2K and 4K are upscales from 768p, so do not expect native 4K detail from it.
