Among the vendor pages I could read on 2026-10-02, the longest single clip is 30 seconds: Kling 4.0 lists 3 to 30 seconds natively. Luma Ray3.2 goes to 20 seconds at 1080p, and Gemini Omni Flash makes 3 to 10 seconds per generation, chainable to 40 seconds per a third-party page. Sume's catalog tops out at 30 seconds.

This is a limits table, not a quality ranking. Vendor numbers are stated on each vendor's page (or, for Gemini Omni, a third-party page), and none of them says which clips look better.

What does each source say?

Each row names its source. Early access means Kling 4.0 is not generally available yet; its page says the full launch is due in October 2026.

Why is the limit a weak way to choose?

Length says what one request can return, not what the clip will be. Resolution, aspect ratio, audio, reference limits and price all vary independently. A 30-second clip at a low resolution may be less useful than two 15-second clips at a higher one.

What can I do through Sume today?

Sume lists Seedance 2.5 at 4 to 30 seconds and Wan 3.0 at 2 to 30, per its docs. It lists no Kling 4.0 id, so the Kling row above is something to watch, not something to call. Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 is in the catalog at 3 to 10 seconds, 16:9 or 9:16, with native audio.

Anything longer than one generation is a Timeline join, which costs $0.10 per output minute rounded up.

What should I check before relying on a number?

Re-read the vendor page on the day you build, because early-access limits change. For Sume, query GET /v1/videos/models, since the catalog is what your key can actually call.
