LIVE GMV Max Creative Boost: $10 minimum, 24h default, prep clips
Creative Boost in LIVE GMV Max needs allowlisting, In queue or Not delivering videos and a $10 daily minimum. How to prepare variant clips with Sume first.

LIVE GMV Max Creative Boost is a short, separately budgeted push for videos already in your LIVE GMV Max campaign. TikTok's setup page requires an operational campaign, allowlisting for the feature, and videos in the In queue or Not delivering status, with a daily budget of at least $10 USD (read 2026-10-03).
The reporting is thin: Impressions, Cost, CTR and Video Views. That shapes how to prepare clips with Sume: change one thing per variant, and read the result as a click-through question, not a sales one.
What does Creative Boost require?
The setup page lists the conditions in order. Anything not on it, such as video duration or resolution, is not specified there, so do not assume a limit.
- Boost spend is not counted in ROI compensation eligibility calculations.
- The allowlist is TikTok's; Sume cannot request it for you.
- A boost ends on its own after 24 hours unless you set another end.
| Setting | Page says |
|---|---|
| Account | Active TikTok Shop account with an operational LIVE GMV Max campaign |
| Access | Allowlisted for the Creative Boost feature |
| Video status | In queue or Not delivering (not Unavailable) |
| Budget | Daily only, minimum $10 USD or the account currency equivalent |
| Timing | Start now or at the next LIVE session; optional end, default 24 hours from start |
| Metrics | Impressions, Cost, CTR, Video Views; GMV, orders and ROI are unavailable |
How do I prepare comparable clips?
Because a boost reports CTR and views only, the variant is the experiment. Keep the product, offer and length fixed and change only the opening. A bulk queue makes that cheap to specify: every item shares the brief, and only the hook line differs.
If a winning clip needs a shorter cut for a later push, video trim takes start and duration and returns a new MP4 for $0.02 per job.

{"instruction":"SKU 1001 clip, hook: ends tonight"},
{"instruction":"SKU 1001 clip, hook: gift-ready"},
{"instruction":"SKU 1001 clip, hook: before and after"}]}'How should I read the results?
A 24-hour default window means a boost is a sprint. Prepare, review and name the clips before the next LIVE session, not during it. Put the hook id in the file name so a CTR row can be mapped back to one variant.
Do not read a CTR lead as proof that a clip sells: the page says GMV, orders and ROI are not available for Boost.
What Sume does not do
Sume does not read Boost metrics, set budgets, or move videos between statuses. It also cannot tell you whether your shop is allowlisted. Those are TikTok-side steps, and anything the setup page does not state is left out of this post.
