Kling lists MCP and CLI tools for batch video; Sume's hosted MCP
Kling's home page mentions MCP and CLI tools for batch generation. Sume's hosted MCP at mcp.sume.com has generate_video; its Kling row is kling-3 only.

Kling AI's home page, read on 2026-10-08, headlines Kling 4.0 and says its platform now includes MCP and CLI tools for batch generation. If you want an AI agent to batch-generate video through MCP on Sume, the equivalent is the hosted MCP server at https://mcp.sume.com/mcp, whose generate_video tool submits video jobs. Be clear about the model: Sume's catalog lists kling-3, not Kling 4.0, so an agent that asks for Kling 4.0 by name will not find it.
What each page says
The Kling home page lists Kling 4.0 as the newest model, describes Kling Video 3.0 in standard and Omni variants, and mentions Canvas, MCP and CLI tools for batch generation and motion control. It gives no tool names or pricing in the text we read.
Sume's MCP tools and gates page says hosted MCP tools wrap selected public API capabilities, and to use tools_list and tools_schema to discover the live contract. Paid tools need an idempotency_key, and dry_run=true previews cost without submitting a job.

Connect an agent and batch
Steps:
- In Claude Code, run
claude mcp add --transport http sume https://mcp.sume.com/mcp, thenclaude mcp login sume. - Ask the agent to call
tools_schemawith the namegenerate_videoand read the fields. - Run one call with
dry_run=trueand check the admission preview. - For three or more independent calls of the same shape, use
script_run, which loops tool calls on the Sume side and returns one value; paid creates inside it still need their ownidempotency_key.
claude mcp add --transport http sume https://mcp.sume.com/mcp
claude mcp login sumeChoosing a model in a batch
If you name kling-3, you get 4 to 15 second clips at 720p or 1080p, with no reference inputs, at $0.14 a second silent and $0.21 with audio. If you leave the model out, MCP adds sume/auto, which by default resolves to Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 for text, frame and reference requests. Auto never discloses which family ran, and fails closed on constraints the default row cannot meet.
For a batch of twenty 6-second Kling 3 clips at 1080p with audio, the cost is 20 x 6 x $0.21, which is $25.20.
Reading a result back
After the submit, the agent should not poll in a tight loop. Hosted MCP has jobs_status and jobs_wait, and jobs_wait holds for a limited time per call, so a long video may need several calls. When the job is done, jobs_result returns the result. In reports, prefer Sume public ids and media.sume.com URLs, and do not paste signed URLs, tokens or keys into chat logs, as the MCP docs advise.
What Sume does not do
Sume does not list Kling 4.0, does not claim parity with Kling's own MCP or CLI, and the server is hosted at one URL. Check tools_list for the live inventory instead of assuming a tool exists.
