Is Qwen Image 2.1 Turbo on Sume? No: use these three Qwen rows

Sume's image catalog has no Qwen-Image-2.1 Turbo row. It lists Qwen Image, Qwen Image Max and Qwen Image Layered, and one call shows which.

No. As of 2026-10-13 the Sume image catalog does not list Qwen-Image-2.1, Qwen-Image-2.1-Pro or Qwen-Image-2.1-Turbo. Sume lists three Qwen rows instead: qwen/qwen-image, qwen/qwen-image-max and qwen/qwen-image-layered. Alibaba launched the 2.1 Pro and Turbo APIs on 2026-10-09, per the Qwen-Image-2.1 repository.

What each Qwen row does

Sume's catalog (docs/api/images.md in the repo and the public Image API docs) is the only source for the rows below. A request that names an id outside the catalog returns 404 model_not_found.

Sume image catalog rows (list from the Sume repo, billed = list x 1.25), read 2026-10-13
Sume model idInputRatios listedn
qwen/qwen-imageText, and edit with input_references13, from 21:9 to 9:211 to 4
qwen/qwen-image-maxText only13, same set1 to 4
qwen/qwen-image-layeredExactly one imageNone; output is PNG layers2 to 4 layers

Check it yourself

The catalog is live, so the answer can change when a row is added. This script prints every Qwen id and name without any hard-coded list.

If a Qwen-Image-2.1 id appears there later, it is on Sume. Until then, a request with a guessed id such as qwen/qwen-image-2.1-turbo fails.

import os, requests

r = requests.get(
    "https://api.sume.com/v1/images/models",
    headers={"Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['SUME_API_KEY']}"},
    timeout=30,
)
r.raise_for_status()
for m in r.json()["data"]:
    if "qwen" in m["id"]:
        print(m["id"], m["name"])

When 2.1 matters

You may want 2.1 for native transparency or the 8-step schedule. For transparent stills on Sume today, openai/gpt-image-2.5 accepts background: transparent. See the rate card for current credits.
