HyperFrames on the Sume Integrations page: built in, not Frame.io

The HyperFrames row is Sume's own video editor and composition stack. It has no Connect button and is not Frame.io, YouTube or any external host.

The HyperFrames row on Sume's Integrations page is not a link to an outside service. It is the Agents video editor and composition stack that ships with Sume, shown as always connected. There is no Connect, Disconnect, demo or OAuth client for it. It is not Frame.io, YouTube or any other external video host.

What the catalog doc says

docs/operations/integrations-catalog.md marks HyperFrames as kind: "builtin", and describes it as the Agents video editor and composition stack: HyperframesStage plus the hyperframes_compose, check, snapshot and render tools. Built-ins always render as connected or pre-set-up, and their status does not come from the workspace_integrations rows that OAuth connectors use.

Why list a built-in at all

The page is a single flat list of what your agents can reach. Showing the built-ins next to Slack and Meta Ads answers the question "what does my workspace already have" in one place, without a Connect step.

What not to expect

  • No OAuth screen and no token to expire
  • No Disconnect action
  • No import from Frame.io or another review tool; those catalog entries have no Connect path
  • No publishing to YouTube from this row

If you want outside video hosts

Frame.io, YouTube and TikTok Ads are catalog-only providers with no verified hosted MCP and OAuth pair in Sume's docs, so they are coming soon and hidden. Move files with a public media URL or an upload on the generation API instead.

Related built-in

The other built-in is Remotes, the first-party hosted MCP at https://mcp.sume.com/mcp. It exists as a row so you can see it, not so you can add a third-party app. You point clients at that URL; see which URL to put in your client.

How to use HyperFrames from an agent

Ask an agent in the workspace to compose, check, snapshot and render a video. Those are the tools behind the row, and they run inside Sume. Nothing is sent to a third-party editor, and no token is created for the row.

If a teammate says HyperFrames is not connected, tell them it never needs to be.
