Genjutsu Restyle's 20+ styles vs Sume motion transfer inputs
Higgsfield Genjutsu Restyle picks from 20+ styles in its app. Sume's motion transfer takes a source video plus 1 to 8 reference images, with no style list.

Higgsfield's Genjutsu Restyle redraws a whole video in a new style and lets you pick from 20+ animation styles in its app. Sume's Genjutsu model has no style list. It does Motion Transfer: one source video_url plus 1 to 8 reference_image_urls that carry the look you want, at 480p or 720p.
Higgsfield's details are from its September 30 changelog entry; Sume's are from Video Router, read 2026-10-01.
What does Genjutsu Restyle do on Higgsfield?
The entry says it redraws a whole video in a new visual style while keeping the original motion, timing and camera work. It runs in Genjutsu's Motion transfer mode with reference videos from 4 to 30 seconds. You choose 20+ animation styles or build your own from up to 30 reference images, at 480p, 720p or 1080p, on the web and via MCP.
What does Sume accept for the same job?
Per the Video Router and Video generation pages, the Genjutsu catalog model is Motion Transfer. It accepts a source video and reference images, accepts 4 to 30 seconds, and is listed only when its provider is configured. It accepts video references but not audio. Check GET /v1/video-router/models for whether it is available to you.
| Item | Higgsfield Genjutsu Restyle | Sume Genjutsu (Motion Transfer) |
|---|---|---|
| Style choice | 20+ named styles, or your own | No style list; describe the look in the prompt and in reference images |
| Reference images | Up to 30 | 1 to 8 reference_image_urls |
| Source video | 4 to 30 seconds | video_url, 4 to 30 seconds |
| Resolution | 480p, 720p, 1080p | 480p, 720p |
How do I get a specific style on Sume?
Show it. Pick 1 to 8 images that carry the style, such as frames from the look you want, and say in the prompt what to keep. The docs do not publish named presets, so there is nothing to select by name. The 8-image ceiling is explained in 30 references on Higgsfield, 8 on Sume.
What if I need 1080p or a longer source?
Sume's documented resolutions for this model stop at 720p. For sources past 30 seconds, cut ranges first as in restyling a long clip.
