Higgsfield API pricing: what to check before you build on it

Higgsfield's public API was reported in September. Before you build, check price unit, limits, webhooks and retention; here is how Sume documents each.

Before building on any video API, including Higgsfield's, find five things in its docs: the price unit, the concurrency limit, how completion is signalled, how long outputs stay available, and what a failed job costs. A Higgsfield public API was reported in September 2026 (known only from a search snippet, not a fetched page), and a PR Newswire release indexed on 2026-10-02 is titled as a $400 million Series B at a $5.4 billion valuation with annualized revenue reaching $700 million. Neither tells you a rate, so this post gives no Higgsfield price.

For comparison, the Sume column comes from Generation admission, Webhooks, and Video generation, read 2026-10-02. The release title is from PR Newswire.

Where does Sume state each of the five?

Price comes from the catalog: GET /v1/videos/models returns pricing_skus per model, and the Video Router docs state list price times 1.25. Concurrency is plan-based. Completion arrives by polling, callback_url, or signed job.completed webhooks. Read each yourself; the table says where.

What to check and where Sume documents it, read 2026-10-02.

Does a funding round change how I should build?

It changes nothing about a vendor's rate card or limits. It is a reason to keep the model name and the vendor in one config value, so a price or terms change is a one-line edit. Swap the model field, keep the pipeline shows that.

What would I do first?

Run one small job through the vendor, read the receipt, and compare the cost with the published rate. For Sume, a dry_run on the paid tool gives the estimate before you submit.

How does this relate to the other Higgsfield posts?

For how the Higgsfield API behaves in detail, see How does the Higgsfield API work?, and for an overall comparison Higgsfield alternatives.

Keep a dated note of what you found, with the page address, for each of the five checks. When a vendor changes terms, the note tells you what moved. Treat anything you could only find in a search snippet as unconfirmed until it appears on the vendor's own page, and ask the vendor in writing for the numbers you cannot find.
